BULLETIN BOARD # 5 What is NC II Why is it important

The training programs of Action for Skills Knowledge Education and Wellness  (ASKEDWELL) Center Corp are and should be registered with TESDA. This is the basis of the endorsement of TESDA and approval of Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock non-profit corporation.

This means that the TESDA Training Regulations and procedures must be followed and  NC II or NC III certifications are the objectives set for its trainees.

It is important to understand the functionality and need for NC Level certification. NC stands for National Certificate and levels from I to IV set by TESDA until the Diploma Level of certification.

These levels are important in the implementation of K to 12 of Dep Ed. Please view the post on K to 12 as presented by Dep ed and TESDA.

An NC II or NC III certification is usually needed by a person who wants to work abroad as the TESDA certification is internationally recognized in view of the opening of economic and education borders. The NC II qualification for a high school graduate is also part of a qualification  for a special order for a holder to proceed to higher education in a ladderized training system for a Bachelors Degree courses with CHED.

An NC II training in driving for example carries with it the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competency of driving a four-wheel vehicle. Details of the course can be found in the TESDA training regulation and can be downloaded in the internet.

In ASKWEDWELL innovations are included in all courses to ensure that a wider knowledge base is accessible to trainees. This is for better understanding and education on the intricacies of ADULT LEARNING.

In Driving , proper maintenance of the vehicle, pre-operation check and knowledge on international and local traffic regulations are given ample time for discussion with trainees.

The wellness portion is also given proper attention in the course. It is our hope that by exposing a driver to these innovations, safety in the road and health consciousness be always in the drivers’ mind and worthy to be awarded a National Certficate level II on Driving.

The basic, common and core competencies are included in the courses as shown in the blogs for the purpose. Please visit the sites as indicated in the links on the upper right corner of the main page.
